Default 90-91 teg b16 swap

i just have a few questions. i have to get the first gen b16 correct? it mounts directly into the existing mounts? is it going to mount right up to my ls tranny? as far as the ecu goes.. should i get a different vtec ecu? any other details i left out please fill me in on.. thanks guys

First gen is cable , so yes gen 1. You need a vtec ecu. b16 should mount right up in your ls engine bay. Ls tranny should work just fine, but the grearing is longer so it will not rev as fast. A vtec wiring harness will be necessary. If your planning on usiong your existing tranny gen1 or gen2 should not matter. The only big differnce is cable to hydro. And your car probably will not be that much faster because the b16 lacks torque which an integra needs. Might want to consider b18c. Just a tought though.

I would just take the money that your going to spend on the swap and put it into the existing motor. I think you would be much happier this way you can keep the torque and plus the extra power. The b18c is a good choice also but will spend a pretty penny on this motor.
