i got some questions about my intake.. i did a search and couldn't find anything. maybe i'm just dumb, but i at least put the effor in before i posted, so don't complain if this has been talked about before.
anyway, to my question...
i just put a AEM CAI on my 96 integra rs. the AEM has two holes in it for sensors or whatnot. my stock intake only had one hole in it for the valve cover vent (correct terminology??). what are the two holes for in the AEM? is it better to just bypass the tube from the valve cover to the intake by installing one of those little filters that goes directly on the valve cover? do i plug the two holes on the AEM if i do? what should i plug them with? thanks for any help.

if it's designed for another application you would definetly need to plug those holes as they would be after the filter and a direct shot for debris and trash to get into throttle body/engine. you can bypass "valve cover vent" but unecesary if you have the inlet on the intake for it, depending on location of the other fittings that aren't being used you could plug them by running a hose of same diameter from one to the other preferably on bottom of intake and unvisible, other than that they do make rubber caps you could place over top of them, here again dont place anything inside of them in danger of being sucked into engine
You also want it to be smooth on the inside, That is the positive crankcase ventilation, if it is what I think it is. My iceman has a hole that is threaded for the brace to attach. If the hole goes all the way through, you want to seal it up, preferably with something you can take out if you have to. Try a plumbing section at a hardware store
