Default OBDI vs. OBD II

Everyone says that the 94-95 GS-Rs are the best years due to the OBDI computer and its ability to be chipped (and also that it reacts well to modifications. My question is, for those of us who are running 94-95 GS-Rs, how can we best take advantage of our OBDI units ? In other words, how exactly can we make this "benefit" noticed in 1/4 runs ??

the only problem is that the threads about this topic concentrate only on the difference between the two; not how to take advantage of the obd I chip.

You can advance your timing on an OBDI (assuming your motor is relatively stock), good for a slight power gain. You can't take advantage of that on an OBDII.
