to CF or not...
Hello all im new here,
I got into an accident a while ago and my hood was quite bent. I was wondering if I should replace it with a CF hood or not. This is my daily driver and there are plenty of pebbles around the roads of Boston. How easy is it to ruin a CF ? Thanks for your input!

Yes I would definently go with a CF hood! It depends on which kind get whether or not it will stand up to wear and tear.
http://www.fiberimages.com/ <---Has the best CF hoods out there, they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. As for all of the pebbles; they will most likely scratch the clear coat of the hood but not too badly and you could always get it re-clearcoated if you wished to.

Thanks for the input... my car's red but will be either grapphite or metallic blue when the new hood is replaced... oh yes... that site has absolutely no prices anywhere to be found? How much is the integra ones?
A similar thing happened to me -- My hood was bent up in an accident, so I replaced it with a VIS CF hood. The quality is quite good. There is a little more of a gap on either side between the fenders than with the stock hood, but nothing major. I've only had it on for about 2 months now. I just took a 1500 mile road trip and it doesn't look any worse for wear. I paid $450 (shipped) for mine via a group buy from GXC Inc. I've seen VIS hoods for $400 shipped since then. I think it's a very good look, and it will probably look good with either of those colors.
