I have had my Ground Control on for a while, and I am now thinkin' of putting new shocks on, but I don't have any idea which shocks will fit. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

 

well, it depends on what type of GC's you've got. The special edition requires different types.

One set requires Koni Sport (commonly known as "yellows") only.

The other can be used with KYB AGX's and Tokico Blues (non-adjustable) and Tokico Illuminas (adjustable).

 

I have the special edition, I think. What is the difference??

 

Special Edition are designed to be used with most aftermarket shocks; the koni versions are a bit stiffer. I thought I knew the springrates on my own car but I was told otherwise in a previous thread lol. Anyone care to hazard a guess to the "stock/koni" GC rates?

id go with koni yellows...i have the gc/koni combo and i have a friend with a GSR with the same set.....i highly recommend it

 

the gc limited edition's work with tokico, kyb, and stock only I think.

 

if koni's are an option get them

 

I have a set of Tokico Blues (non-adjustables) and they're aiite. If you're set on Koni's, I think that there is a groupbuy going on for them right now...
