Default radiator flush

Is it necessary to flush a brand new radiator after a certain amount of miles? I heard it is good because it will get rid of any impurities (such as metal shavings) from inside the new radiator?

well, most new cars arent flushed until after 2 years have past. and those would have the potential for more contamination than just a new radiator.

I'd say if you're worried about metal shavings from manufacturing the new radiator, you should have rinsed it out real good before putting it in.
