Offset Question...

I currently have 17x7 wheels with an offset of 40. I'm going to buy a set of 18x7.5 with an offset of 45. Will these rub at all?? I'm dropped 2 inches...

what tires? and at +45 on 18s, itll probably rub against the springs as well.

tires are 215/35/18

Well the 45 offset is much better than a 40. With the 45's, you could get a 2mm spacer (if there is such a thing) to push it out.

what about 17x7.5 with the same offset.... would I have the same prob with those?
