Default Test Pipe vs. High Flow Cat

Hey I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion or some advice on whether to go with a high flow cat, or to just run a test pipe?

A carsound hi-flow cat flows almost as well as a test pipe.

Having a test pipe versus a hi-flow cat will make your car sound like a pack of angry killer bees. Your exhaust fumes will also be pretty toxic. It's really up to you.

why does everyone bring up that "can of killer bees" comment on test pipes.
it really doesn't sound that bad if you have a decent exhaust setup.

here's a comparison:
Test Pipe High Flow Cat
around $35 over $100
better performance than hi flow cat
no pass emis. will pass emis.

so basically what i'm sayin is go for the test pipe, I did and i'm happy with it.

a hi flow cat will perform better than any cat due to the design of catalytic converters. but by performance, i mean in flow, not in engine power.
