check out www.team-integra.net

they've got some sound clips from various exhausts on G3 integras.

I did my own custom dual exhaust on my g2. I used a 2 chamber Flowmaster and modded it to give me a nice sound and a functional dual outlet that w you just don't see too often.

What are your goals for the car? Almost all cat-back exhausts are 2.25", which is fine for bolt-ons and minor engine work. You'll probably be more interested in sound as the power differences between exhausts are minimal for just bolt-ons for less.

I'm a witness to the fact that his sounds incredible. Really lowww rumble at idle, and then once it hits 4.5 g's its a very agressive sweet sound.

I have a GReddy Evo too. Frankly, I love the fact that it's quieter and lower in tone than stock @ idle. And, when let loose at WOT, it actually sounds like impressive and powerful, not tinny and high pitched like most straight-through cannisters that I've heard.

Only complaint: Last night I set off my THIRD car alarm by exhaust note alone. First time I set off the alarm of a 30th Ann. Camero SS, so it was understandable why the guy's alarm would have been extra sensitive. The other two were ricers that decided to park next to me, so I didn't feel as bad... in fact... I was rather amused at myself

It's a huge tip, but it sits right at the bumper, which is really nice, and it weighs like 20-30% less than stock, too.

Though, the tone did get a little more ricey with the install of an aftermarket cat...

I also have an evo. I've been very happy with it. It's definitely not too ricey but also gets very loud. Mercedes owners don't like my car though.. I swear, they have thee most sensitive alarms but oh well

well what about the greddy sp and the apex ws
those should be quieter.

someone compare the greddy sp to the evo.
on the wav's in team-integra... the evo doesn't hit WOT, and sounds a tiny bit ricey.
and the greddy sp starts off with a very deep and low rumble, and as it hits the rev limiter, the engine noise comes over it.

my thoughts are still inconclusive, can anyone else compare the greddy sp and the greddy evo..., preferably someone with real-life experience.... thanks

i dont want to start another thread about exhaust, so i'm gonna ask here. has any one heard a JIC system on an integra? i've heard one on a 240sx(sr20det) and it was an amazing sounding system, though a little loud. but the fact that the full titanium system weighs next to nothing, its worth it to me.
