Default Obd2 Injectors

Just had a quick question... Im putting an obd2 gsr engine into an obd1 gsr, and im wondering if i have to wire up a resistor box for the injectors to work.

which ECU are u going to use? what engine harness is being used?

match everything according to which OBD ecu you're using

so if im using an obd1 ecu, then i should use the obd 1 engine harness and i shouldnt need a resistor box? should i just splice in the newer injector clips?

nope, im a smog tech and if you are using an obd2 engine, you should use an obd2 ecu and wirings as well so you wont have a problem with pcm test while getting a smog
