i just smoked the system again 2days ago but i concentrated more on the tank side this time. test shows no leaks with the use of the smoke pro tester.

took the back seats off and check the orvr lines and the fuel pump seals, again no smoke.

this car came from minnesota and underneath the car is mostly rust.

with bi directional scanner and smoke pro, i verified the operation of the vent solenoid, purge solenoid, two way valve solenoid.

i bought a brank new two way valve as they are a common failure.

throughout the testing, smoke and pressure was introuduce in the system at various places and no leaks found.
my diagnosis:

im changing the BOSS---- the FTP sensor.
there was point during the testing that i used vacuum on this sensor and it seems that there is a very slight hiccup on the output voltage once i release the vacuum on the sensor. however it works fine when pressure is introuduce to it.
again, this car has rusts underneat and the FTP sensor is exposed to the element under the car.

wi th all the test done, i fell comfortable changing this part. that is when i have the money hahahaha
