My Car... What you think?
u can get some "goo gone" from an auto parts store to get the gummy residue off once you pull the emblems off. you can also try to *VERY* carefully use a straight edge razor blade. just don't cut up your paint too bad doing it.
you can try using a hair dryer on the windows and it should take off the stickers, but i'm not sure about the paint. i think it should work, but i'm not sure. on the windows only you could use a razor, and use rubbing alcohol. alcohol can get a lot of stuff off.
I think you guys were at bit too harsh on that guy...I mean so what if he want's to think he has a Type-R, or that he didn't know much about its real specifications. Those of you with genuine ITR's should rest assured that you indeed have the real thing.
I see lots of pseudo-ITR GS-R's (and one LS even) around here in Cali, but typically the driver goes to great lenghts to hide that fact - only doing the 'conversion' if he has a White or Black GS-R (aside: haven't seen any yellow GS-Rs though, were there any made in that colour?)...its fairly accurate upto the one thing they can't do easily, and that's the interior and sunroof (plus the instrument cluster always gives it away). I just laugh to myself.

No no no, I said I took off all the badges already.
I need to remove the stickers. The Enkei sticker on the front winshield, X Sports on the back winshield, and Neuspeed from each of the rear view mirrors as well as the PIAA and AEM stickers down by the front under the lights.
I already took off all the Type R badging and anything and everything else that said "Type R" on it.

Exactly. If I saw that car out in a parking lot, chances are, I'd wait for you to come back to tell you about it.
I see Neon Type Rs, Cavalier Type Rs, etc. I let them slide, because they aren't fooling anybody. When I see a Honda/Acura product with a Type R badge, I do my best to make the feel STOOPAD.
"Hey, I love you Type R, what number is it?"
"Wow, I didn't know Type Rs come in that color!"
I love how defensive people get and talk shit on my car, even though they don't know what it is. The conversation ends when I ask for a ride to that Yellow Integra Type R over there.
