In all honesty, I just think he should take off the badge. I mean, it's NOT a Type R, it couldn't even pass for a fake one, so why make yourself look ignorant?
Other than that, if he likes the car, it's cool with me.

I also think he should take the badge off. If it was my car, I would take it all off, but to each his own. It's your car bud, do what you want, but don't try to pass it off as something it's not any longer.

Exactly. If I saw that car out in a parking lot, chances are, I'd wait for you to come back to tell you about it.
I see Neon Type Rs, Cavalier Type Rs, etc. I let them slide, because they aren't fooling anybody. When I see a Honda/Acura product with a Type R badge, I do my best to make the feel STOOPAD.
"Hey, I love you Type R, what number is it?"
"Wow, I didn't know Type Rs come in that color!"
I love how defensive people get and talk shit on my car, even though they don't know what it is. The conversation ends when I ask for a ride to that Yellow Integra Type R over there.

I would lose the stickers and the Type-R badge and get the 98+ tails. But those are personal preferences. You did get a very nice car for the price you paid though. The GSR has a lot of potential to mod either FI or NA.

Red Acura badge can stay, because it doesn't really mean it is a Type R,
as far as the "Integra Type R" goes, you should really take that off.
