Default Bummed out, is it worth it....

I bought a 91 integra GS and I went and saw it today, its got some rust and aparently its running great. I only paid 1,600 cdn for it. Should I just drive that and save up to buy a nicer car one day in the future or should I start working on this one. When I first got it I was really excited I could mod it and paint it, call it my own. But for some reason today I just got this feeling that it may not be worth it. I don't know that much about cars and I Wanted to learn by putting some money in and makin it bling. I'm only 18 and I don't know what to do... Ive been reading hardcore on this forum and soaking up tonnes of information from everywhere. Do I wait and buy a new car or do I spend my pocket money on this car? please help...

my advice would be to keep it clean and running well, but save your money for something nice in the future. (minor modding won't hurt, as long as it doesn't break the bank)

...but keep in mind that once you start modding, you won't want to stop.

You're still very young, I'm sure you want to get into this hobby ASAP but the worst thing you can do is rush it. But if you do have the money to splurge and plan on keeping this car for more than five years, go for it. If I were in your shoes, I would wait.
