Ok i have a silver 99 ls and i wanted to get the type r lip but i wanted to paint it flat black like the sides and leave it black.now does anyone have this or do u guys think it will look good?
any opinions is ok..

get it painted to match your car, a black lip would look gross on a silver car, no matter if those side skirts are stock color.

thanks for all your guys opinions, but i dont know i just might try it and see what happenes, personally i dont think it will look that bad,but u never know,it wouldent look to diff from the cf lip unless u were right up next to the car.......but we will see.

carbon fiber is carbon fiber and black paint is black paint, it wont look good.

people will think that your trying to make it look like you have CF sides and lip-so they'll drive buy and say,"that's gay"-like i do when i see people with their hoods painted black.

 

color match to the car unless it is c.f.! imo flat black only good good on rims everything else jus looks like it is primerd or some shit like that (.2 cent added)
