yay lets buy a new car
okay, well anyways:
last saturday, i spotted this black 2000 integra gsr (vtec emblem in the back removed tho, i guess he was going for the sleeper thing), its fixed up etc etc. all the best parts under the hood, the guy who owned it before knew EXACTLY what he was doing, he got a good start, and i guess imma finish it off..
so i fell in love with it, and im planning to go buy it this coming saturday
i told my dad about it, and i told him that saturday would be the day, i told him this like 2 days ago.. on monday.. he agreed to go look at it etc etc, possibly buy it..
but NOW, he changes his mind.. he says "get a brand new car, cause the interest will be cheaper.."
so now im considering an RSX-S as a back fall if i cant get the GSR..
now my question is, what are numbers for a STOCK gsr,
i know it weighs about 2700lbs, 170hp etc etc, but how does it really perform against the rsx-s ? cause my experiences with the rsx-s weren't very thrilling, and i didnt have the "i must buy it NOW" thing going.. i havent seen it side by side to a gsr yet..
ive even considered the VW GTI VR6.. ah i just dunno right now..
also, the GSR is listed at 20g's, its a 2000 model with 37k miles, do u think the dealer will think im crazy if i ask for it for $15,500? caues the trade in value IS $13,500 for the gsr...
the dealers gonna bust out some stuff about how it has "$5000" invested in perforamce parts and imma counter that with how the parts just void parts of the warantee and shortens the life of the car..
so give me ur opinions everyone!
either find a way for me to get the GSR for REALLY cheap or tell me why the RSX-S is a better deal..
bleh, im working 11 hours a day.. i need this car to make me happy..

Play off the issue that if there are performance parts, it's probably been driven pretty hard. It's more wear than normal driving, and you would consider it devalued, as Reno said.

yeah, thats my arguement.. 'its probably been raced in', 'void warantee', 'cold air intake sucks in water', 'parts are supposed to devalue the car', etc..
now someone tell me about an RSX

2002 = 180 hp
2000-2001 = 150hp.
Chip it for about $499 from APR or go through me and you have about major gains. My 2001 1.8T jetta I chipped and went from 150 to about 195. If you go the vw route.

what do u guys think??!? this is it right here..
dont mind the 'honda' emblem, im taking that off first thing, i guess he was going for like super jdm'ism..
from what i saw when i pop'd the hood, and look'd around
dc sports ceramic headers
neuspeed front tower and rear tower bars
greddy evo exhaust
aem cai
rota slipstreams
lowered, dunno which springs yet or coilovers yet..
more small stuff..
planning of buying it tomarrow if dealer settles at under $16,500.. how do u guys feel? i know it isnt that fastest thing, but i like it..
