Default Check Engine Light!!

i have a 99 gsr and its been acting a little funny. when i get on it the car kinda lags in and out of a power band. please help. i was drivin tonight and the car was doin it really bad then all the sudden it kinda dumped on me and almost stalled. now the check engine lights on. i dont have the slightest idea .
any help would be great.......

how many miles do you have on it? it might be possilble that it needs some new plugs or time to get it serviced. Did you check the codes your getting out from your obd?

it has 55k miles. i have not had it hooked up yet. im doing that today at discount.

well i brought the car to autozone for a free diagnostics. the store said that its throwing out a p1259. he seemed a bit retarded and told me he dosnt know what it means and to call the dealer. well the dealer is too busy to talk to me. please some one help me out. what is it and how do i fix it?

well i unplugged the battery and left it for a while. i pu it back and now the lights off!!!:naughty: i think i have a bad o2 sensor. i drove around the car and got on it a little and the lights still off. could it just be a bad o2?

Why don't you just call another Acura dealer and give them the information that I just researched for you?

could be i have a stock o2 sensor thats still good for sale.
could be alot of things though,im throwing a code 22 which is the same as yours,look at my post from a while ago on the code 22 to see what i did,mines still not fixed.

I highly doubt a bad o2 sensor would cause you to throw a code for the VTEC system. Here is the troubleshooting guide for a code 22 out of the Helms manual:
