H22 in a 93 teg. The obvious is that the teg is cable and the 22 is hydro any know anything about converting it from cable to hydro. If not any links. Please help.

 

Don't forget, the F and H series transaxles use a cable shifter, not a solid shift linkage like B and D series engines. This requires custom work to adapt a Prelude or Accord shifter into the Integra body.

 

Pretty sure you should get some stronger shocks up front from the added engine weight of the H22.

 

I was told that I might have to tap into the brake master cylinder to get my fluid to run the hydraulic tranny. The shocks yes a must, but the tranny is the most important now. Would a civic shift linkage work.. Maybe bolt right up the under carriage for the shifter and possibly shorten it or lengthen if needed.

 

Did you even read my post? NO, a civic linkage will not work. A 90+ Accord or 92+ Prelude shifter assembly must be adapted to work.

 

Oh sorry man didnt understand fully. So what about the hydraulic fluid is that going to be a problem?

 

I thought that the H22 was a hydraulic tranny thats why I asked about the fluid if not then Im a dumbass

 

Don't worry, the 'ludes do have hydro transaxles.

BTW, what are you doing for mounts? Do you have a custom shop that will fab them?
