Default Machine shop costs

So I stopped by my local machine shop today to ask how much they charge to do some work on my B18B1. They told me:
$44 for a hone
$100 to bore
$220 to balance the rotating assembly
$50 to clean the block up
and I forgot to ask what they charge to blue print the block.

My question is have any of you had this work done on your B series blocks? If so around what did you pay? I will start a build thread when I start the work.

that sounds like a good deal actually. i have no experience personally with bottom end work pricing, except that i know its usually way more than $500.

Yea, that sounds pretty good. It cost me around $800 to have my bottom end redone

Well I'll find out what it costs because I need to build it before next term starts. Maybe I'll be able to get out to the track this year. I'll make a mini build thread when I start the work.

I had my B16 head done for a little over $600 few years back. With hot tank, pressure check, new valves, valve guides, spring, retainers, 3 way, port and polish, etc.
