My Attenna wont go up or downn guy help!..i see a white plastic strip n it loose...help

 

do you hear the motor spinning?

have you recently installed an aftermarket head unit?

have you checked your fuses? (is anything else not working?)

need more info.

 

yes i do hear the motor spinning but it dont goes upppp only like 5 inches up...o ye the radio do workk...but the attenna doesnt goes all the way up and now i see white plastic strip out of it..

 

it sounds like the gears to "open" the antenna are stripped. i don't know if there's much you can do to fix it besides replacing the whole thing, which would be expensive.

 

rip that ish out and drop in an S2K antenna. looks alot nicer i think, not too hard to do either, cost me about 30$ to do the whole thing., or if you want, you can have my old antenna motor, haha.

 

REMOVE IT! I HATE SEEING THOSE PROTRUDING CROME PIECES OF METAL IN THE AIR!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH THEY RUIN THE WHOLE LOOK OF THE CAR, IM SORRY THATS JUST MY TWO CENTS, AND IF U NEED TO BUY A NEW ATTENA UNIT, EMAIL ME CAUSE MY FRIEND JUST REMOVED HIS FROM HIS 2000 GSR. Drwkoopa@aol.com
