I have a b18b engine with 44k miles and i threw a gear hard today and next trhing i knew the oil light started flashing , indicating that i had low oil pressure....then i look by header and i see alittle bit of oil.......what the hell do i do?!?! and what could it be????

 

What is throwing a gear? You mean you just shifted fast? Well, first I'd find where the oil is coming from.

 

i took it down to my mechanic he did an oil pressure check and the result was there was absolutly NO pressure...wow ...now they have to drop the oil pan and locate the problem, then do a compression check on the pistons and see if i did any damage,, if i did, this means a rebuild correct?
