Default brake-squealing problem

Ok so i am driving, when ever i brake, there is a sound some what low-medium pitch sound coming from the back right tire. It doesnt do it everytime i brake, but it is very frequent when i brake. I was wondering if anybody could help me find out what the problem is. Thanks

You could possibly need a brake job, since they will start to make noise when they start to go bad. This would also explain why it's intermediate.

The metal indicator on your pads could be causing the noise, indicating that it's time to replace brake pads. I would check how much pad you have left back there.

If its squeaking...check how much pad life is left. If the pads were replaced recently, chances are they didnt grease the back of the shim enough or at all.
