does anyone know that MSD ignition system will damage your motor cause the high voltage?

 

how so will it damage ur motor? cuz i have msd 6al and i know a few of my friends runnin on other brands and msd ignition and they have no porblems. is it like a long term effect where u leave the msd in the motor too long then it will start to damage something?
