Default wire cover/bolts question...

Just installed a chrome tenzo r wire cover on my b18c head. Was i suppose to torque those tiny nuts? Looking at the cover from the front of engine bay, looks smooth and fine. But when I look from the side or at an angle the cover looks wavey due to the nuts holding it down. I didn't tighten the nuts too hard. Anyone have the same problem?

I don't know specifically what the torque specs are for that thing but I think the valve cover is something like 10 ft-lbs so not very much at all. Hand tightening should be fine.

i used a ratchet. If i just hand tighten it would the vibration make it come loose? I have a torque wrench but need to buy the adapter to fit the smaller sockets. Thanx g2teg

what I mean by hand tightened is you use a ratchet to tighten it just so that you can't loosen it by hand.
