What is the difference between adjustable and non adjustable, performance wise... does it mean the height is adjustable or the weight tolerance for cornering... ,,,???? o_0

It means the stiffness of the shock is adjustable usually by means of an adjustment knob located on the top of the shock.

some shocks have adjustable perches(sp)? that changes the ride height.
