You can make the AEM CAI into a short-ram (the instruction manual says to do so every time it rains to avoid hydrolock h: ), so the only real issue is fitment, which I'm not sure about.

it most likely wont fit. if i remember correctly, on G2 tegs, the battery is next to the intake box, so the piping has to go around that and curves a bit, while on G3 tegs the piping is straight and goes to the bottom.

if you do make it a short ram, it'll be shorter than what its supposed to be.

That suks about the puddle. The reason i asked is because you would have to go through a pretty deep puddle to get water in the intake... I guess one and a half feet will do it... Though puddles that deep are pretty rare.
