Default What do you think?

Ok, I've got two things here, maybe three, we'll see how I'm feeling after I get through this thing.

#1. Yesterday I got off work to notice that my tire was as flat as it could be, basically riding on rim. Well I examined it and noticed that there was a small slit (2") on the sidewall of the tire. I was like damn, that looks like a knife blade wound. Anyways, i get it pumped up and it appears evident that its a knife wound. I GOT SLASHED! :fawk: (Or so it seems) Anyways, 69 dollars later, I get home and my roomate said that maybe us going 132 miles an hour on the highway could have done damage to that. Just to let you know, im riding on 14" ****TERS that were on the car when I bought it. The tire is a 195/60/14, made by Goodyear; basically they blow. Anyways, I work at a bank and there is a camera where my car was parked. I was wondering if I should go get that tape from work, or do u think me doing 132 mph on a low rated tire could have caused that.

#2. My b-day is coming up and Ill probally be asking for $$$$ for my b-day. Anyways I was curious as to which route to take. Camshafts/Valve Springs or Ignition? Which would yeild me the most gain? I saw an ignition that claimed to raise whp like 15. I know camshafts would get me bout 12 - 15 maybe. What you guys think?

Thanks

#1 - you might as well look at the tape, unless it'll get you fired or something... Trust me - if your tire went flat at 130mph you would have noticed!

#2 - how about TIRES?

Get better tires(I'm assuming you're rolling on stock rims) If ya get enough money I'd say better tires and rims. Just my Opinion.

#1. yes driving at 132 mph could have done that, but that doesn't mean that someone didn't slash your tire

#2. stick with lightweight 15s
