:madfawk: is all I have to say. I think it's just somebody ****in with me though, because all they did was smash the passenger side window. Then they popped the hood, the gas lid and opened the glove box. I dunno, hoping there isn't sugar in the tank. Guess I'll find out later when I go vacuum the glass out. Sonuva...

Anybody know:
A. My warranty on the Teg says that Acura has to do all the work on it until 60,000 or the warranty is voided. Does this count? (A glass place would probably be cheaper).
B. Anyone know what a new passenger side window will run with install? I have a $500 deductible.

 

that sucks man. Your lucky that your teg wasn't stolen or had more done to it. I never heard of a warranty like that. Is it some type of extened waranty on the car? I would call them if that is the case to make sure. It definetly would be cheaper at a gas place because most dealerships do just that, take the car to a glass place to fix it and then charge you higher to make money on the deal.

 

I have a 94 integra parts car and I still have the passengers side window. I'd sell it to you for $50 +shipping.

This just happened to me, but you may want to check your deductable again. I have a comprehensive deductable of $500.00, but for vandalism most insurance company's have a much lower deductable and it's just not stated. Like mine, it was $100.00.

I don't think getting the glass done elsewhere will void your warranty because they most likely outsource it anyway, very few dealerships actually do bodywork themselves.
