Default COILOVERS....need input please

What do you guys think about these Nex SR spec coilovers? Heard anything good or bad about it?
Are tehre any coilovers that are pretty good for used around 5 bills? Anyone know of any? I do know about the infamous tein but they're a lil too pricy.
Thank for the advice in advance.....

just buy springs, unless you are going to buy the best coilover setup.

Yeah, if you arent going to go with a good coil over setup, such as Ground Controls and Koni Yellows -- I'd suggest just buying springs.

Not much worse than a crappy suspension component, even if it is adjustable.

Admittingly, I've nevr heard of them.

There are many in the market....I just don't know what makes one better than the other? Is it because of ride quality? There's some I found for a good price such as the Progress Comp. Coilover setup http://www.progressauto.com/products/coilover.html What do you guys think? I'm not really looking for sleeve and struts...I wanted the whole deal...

What's your budget?

Check out the Zeal B6's. Top notch.

The Nex coilovers are a full set with threaded-body shocks and springs included, they are not "sleeve coilovers" like Ground Controls, etc.

They're actually not that bad.

He said he's looking to pay $500 for a used set. Personally I don't think that's a realistic budget, but still.

The Progress coilovers are indeed nice. Do you want adjustable shocks or no? $500 is not going to buy you much in the way of any sort of good coilover setup. The cheapest set you can go for is the Tokico Illumina setup, they run about $750 to $800 and are not bad at all. Otherwise GC's plus Konis or AGX's are a suitable option. But for $500, not really.

Well I found some pretty good prices for some used stuff.....I'm just looking at which to buy. There's the Progress Coilovers I found that's pretty cheap....and the Nex kit.....So I'm deciding...thanks for the advice...Between those which would you go for? Maybe I'll get the jic sf1 used for around 8 bills....which would you pick?
thanks
