well, i took a 99 gsr w/ I/H/E and i only have whats in my sig (I/E). that was pretty good. and i stayed ahead of a new mustang gt (he had his happy tags on) from 50- 115. there are a few kill stores for ya. but i also lost to a eclipse GSX. they j/ smoke you off the line. but i took him from 60.

 

Best thing I've ever done? Everything to the suspension of the car to make it turn like it does.

Worst thing Ive ever done? Slammed it into the back of another car at a peasly 10mph or so, I could have at least made it interesting.

Regretable Mod? Painting the car. Everyday I look at my car and just stare at it, I love it. It's gorgeous and I'm glad it's Championship White, but I'm not sure that I would spend the $4,000 again on the same thing, on my next car.

Memorable Moment? Cross Country Trip in the teg, hitting a semi truck tire square on (it was laying down) at 100mph in Wyoming, jumping it and having nothing happen to the car. Delaware to California in 3 days rules.

 

i have the same color as you did before, and am thinking of painting it either champ white or nighthawk black. what did you do about the paint in the engine bay, door jams, and trunk, did you get all that painted?

 

A lot of these people either lost their license, crashed their car, are in jail, or are dead.

HPDE = high performance driving event. You pay some money to go out on a road course (with or without instructors) and spend a day lapping. No wheel to wheel racing, just lapping and having fun.

Best mod? suspension work...

Worst mod? AEM CAI...crappy thing didn't last 2 years!

Best story? getting my springs and shocks installed under 1 hour including fight the rear LCA bolts.

Worst story? Replacing the OEM radiator and forgetting to drain it first :doh:

Best kill? Well its not a kill, but the other day me and an 02 3.2CL-S were doing 144mph on the highway and i was still creeping up on him.

Worst kill? the 99 Cobra i raced at the drag strip...that was expected!

I regret not having the money, but I look at my car everyday and I love it.

 

The race I won, but ultimately, I got A$$ raped by Va beach for $1100. The good thing is that I learned from it and nobody got hurt. I wanna try to get out to VIR one of these days.

 

worst thing i have done - not doing a carfax on my car when i bought it. Spent a pretty penny getting it to run correctly.
