Default 90-93 integra HP

Why is the 92-93 integra rated 10 more HP than the 90-91?

I believe it's because they upgraded from the B18A to the B18B those years, but I'm not sure.

correct. 90-91 have B18A, 92-93 have B18B.

all 90-93 tegs have a b18a. the 92-93 has 10 more hp due to different cams/obd1/intake manifold/exhaust manifold/higher redline. the previous owner probably swapped in a b18b into your integra.

Indeed. The B18B was introduced in '94.

Well, the 92-93's also weigh about 100 lbs more. So they're not much quicker.

On the track the 90-1 and 92-3 tegs will be the same speed, or at least a non-measuable ammount of difference. The only real difference between the 90-1 and 92-3 is the bumper style, and the fact that 92-3 tegs are OBD-1, which means the wiring is better, and easier to configure. Other than that, its pretty much the same car
