I am getting back about 1000 dollars from Uncle Sam that I wanna put into my 97 integra LS standard trans 1.8; I already have an exhaust and a AEM Cold Air Intake... No Cat back though... need that damn pipe.... ANY SUGGESTIONS of where I should put the money now. I am not into turning this machine into the fastest thing on the road however I wanna get a bit more pep and a good sporty feel to it... any suggestions guys and gals?.... thanks alot

Random Technology Free Flow Cat, and possibly a header if you dont have one already. That should give you a nice combo 4-2-1's work nice with the LS's.

Finish off the catback, and work your suspension, the Ls lacks in this area.

Hmmmm...with a thousand dollars, I would say your best bet is a nice COMPLETE tuneup, DC sports header, and a nice catback exhaust. that, in combination with what you have already, should give you some 7-10+ hp at the wheels which will be noticeable. Your other option is you can get a complete nitrous system installed for about 1000 $. That will give you the most bang for the buck....

I would say, go for the suspension. You would be so glad if you did. No more chassis roll and no more slowing down while your turning becuz u took the turn a little fast. Turning is a much more comfortable action when the car is lower because of the reduced chassis roll. You could get like KYB AGX's for 340 on www.groupbuycenter.com and then you can get springs for another 100-200, and then you would have some money left for a catback.

finish your catback and then supension work. If you still want more go, put in a nice header. I like the comptech header myself. That list will put you way over the 1,000 mark, but it is a list of things you can do with that 1,000 plus in the future.

$1000?

Ground Control + Koni Yellows - $800

Save the rest for some tires.

Tires are the most important part of the car. Get something nice.
