Default header question!?

I ordered a slightly used 4:2:1 Airmass header off someone on thepartstrader.com. I told him that I had a LS motor and asked what the header was for, he said it fits all 94+ Integras. Well, it turns out it must be designed for a GSR because it is about 6" too short. My question is, can I have a pipe w/ the o2 sensor hole made to fit the gap? My idea was actually to remove my cat and have a straight pipe fitted but will the header fit and preform correctly?

i'm pretty sure that as long as you have a gsr header, you can get a gsr exhaust to fit. the guy was right i guess, it will fit all 94+ integras but with the aid of a new exhaust.

I'm pretty sure that the cat is what is different between the GSR and LS. I think that the LS has a shorter cat and a longer header explaining why the GSR header is too short. I have an LS header on my swap and even that was too short (and different flange position) to meet up with my Civic cat and exhaust.

You could either just get a GSR cat (hoping that the flanges will all meet up) or, just do what I did, and have your exhaust lengthened.

JMO.
