Another good point; pay the extra for stainless steel. Though pretty much all quality systems will be stainless, they last forever.

I haven't been in the game for a while, but the Apexi Ws2 were always mild steel painted with a stainless muffler. Those typically last 5-6 years before rotting out in the northeast. I had a Apexi N1 on an old neon and the muffler rotted off in 4 years.
