WUTUP...I AM ROCKIN A 97 GS-R....WITH...87 MI. I WANNA DROP IT...BUT THE RIGHT WAY...SHOOT ME SOME SUGGESTIONS ON THE BEST STUFF AND THE BEST WAY TO DROP THE CAR WITHOUT MESSING UP THE RIDE THAT MUCH....AIGHT PEACE

Welcome to the board.

First, try to fix your capslock key; just part of the forum etiquette. I guarantee you'll get about 10 responses flaming you just for that . As for your lowering questions, it seems like you're more interested in appearance versus performance. I would recommend a quality progressive-rated-spring+shock combination. The right combinations have been covered many times, try using the search button on the top right hand corner to search out some combinations.

Stay away from "race" springs and $100 coilover kits...those are nothing but trouble.

Try to buy shocks at the same time you buy springs; it'll save you in the long run.

I wanted the same right quality out of my car so I went with the H&R Oe sport spring and the KYB GR-2 shocks. I have been really pleased with these but would like to have a shock that has some adjustability. Also try to use the search button becuase it's yor friend.
