Need advice for my LS
I drive an obdII LS, with minor mods: wal-mart intake, skunk2 cam gears, skunk2 intake manifold, dc 4-2-1 headers, msd, act 6 puck clutch, aem fuel rail and regulator and 2 1/4" piping with stock muffler. my question is, should i go all motor non vtec or boost? i heard about a guy that hit 13s with a 96 LS. If you guys know a good set up for all motor nonvtec, please let me know. I also wanted to know about the skunk2 obdI to obdII harness cause i have a test pipe and wanted to bypass that o2 sensor. it'll be great if you guys could help.
with what you have already invested in with the clutch and intake manifold, i say go turbo. youre gonna end up spending roughly the same amount of money for a "regular" street LS setup but the turbo will blow away the naturally aspirated one. so i say, sell that junk intake, dc header, and exhaust piping. then buy a turbo kit, and a full exhaust (whether custom or not).
if you do want to go naturally aspirated, i say to get your money's worth, first thing to do even before cams is to buy a GSR tranny and sell your LS tranny. that alone will make your LS run a lot quicker.

thanks DB7, i'll probably go with the turbo, is it good to just slap on the turbo or should i build up the motor a bit? do you know the average price to get the turbo, tuned and running? if that cost to much, i might just go with all motor nonvtec, you get more respect spanking someone.
