Default obdII to obdI jumper q's

i have a 99 integra that i finally got back from the body shop...
(small accident)
since i got it back
i put on obdII to obdI
jumper harness on the car w a 94 ls ecu
and put a test pipe where the cat was then put a high flow resonator on the car...
my question to you all is now when i crank the car up i get a real rough idle...
and the car will act like it is going to die...
some times the car takes a little while to even crank..
after it is running and warm it is fine...
i have searched for this topic but have found nothing....any help would be greatly appreciated...
thanks
mike

would a weak battery really have that effect on the car???

It could. In my original message, I qouted the things that stood out as posible results of a bad battery. Get it checked out - I think it's supposed to be 400+ CCA (cold cranking amps). This is differnet from the regular current and some shops can't test the CCA.

The alternator might also be on the decline, so you may want to have that checked as well.

Let me know what happens.
