Default Bike rack on an Integra Coupe

Has anyone on here used a bike rack on their teg coupe? I haven't tried it yet but think I will once the spring comes along. If you have , where did you attach it? pics would be helpful.

Scratches is all thats going to amount to. Have not found one rack that didnt end up collecting sand or salt in some form or another.

Good Luck!

the rack I used on my explorer never scrated it. I only used it to go a few miles back and forth to the bike trail. Then took it off when I got home.

I'm just trying to picture this. An Integra isn't exactly a vehicle engineered with 'bike hauling' in mind. It's not a Jetta. I 'suppose' you could put a hitch on it, and get one of those bike racks that mate to it. Whatever way you go it's going to look like ass.

There is a BIG diffrense bettween an Explorer and an Integra. Im just saying I would not take the risk. People dont buy Integra with the intent of venturing into the wild.

i wouldn't risk it.. there are a few very light dents on my hatch (hardly noticable, but they're there), and one more light one just between the taillights on my teg.. i'm almost positive this happened from a bike rack, by the previous owner.

i did....my teg is used to haul hay and stuff on a farm.

they do have nice ski/snowboard racks for integras, i've seen some tegs with a bike rack. Who cars if it'll "look like ass"? They aren't made to make a statement...

Everything makes a statement. If things weren't made to 'make a statement' we'd all think nothing of Altezza's and lighted hood nozzles, right? A bike rack on a teg would definitely make a statement. I'm of the opinion that that statement would be, "hey, look at me, I'm athletic but don't give a sh!t about my car." Just my $.02. But hay (hahaha, pun intended), we can agree to disagree.

Seriously, if you are intent on hauling bikes with your teg, look into the trailer hitch idea. Don't go strapping things to the roof.

who said venturing of into the wild? If you look at my previous statement I said driving few miles down to the bike trail. On paved roads.

yeah that's a good point. I'll have to look at my bike rack. It is state of the art and has special padding so that the pads touch the car, not the metal but I am sure it still could scratch somewhere.
