Default ground straps

Hey everyone Ive been looking at little things to improve the performance and one of the things i have come across are the "earth grounding system" http://www.optauto.com/webstore/prod...tion=&back=yes
Has anyone used this? Can this really add that much? Hks makes them too but I have no clue how well they work.

i think it will only work depending on the condition of the current engine's setup.

depends on the condition of the current grounding system...

if the grounds on your engine or battery sucks ass or is dirty...yes, there will be a difference. if you keep your grounds clean, i say the difference is minimal if any.

if you can crimp, make your own wires h: its way cheaper.

Seriously, go to Home Depot and get some 2ga insulated stranded wire, then go to a car parts store for some 2ga rings. Cut, crimp, and bolt on. It will do the exact same thing, but I'd be suprised if it costs more then $10.

I know a couple of the Type R guys at Honda-tech used them and actually saw an improvement. They spent like $100 or something though. I could dig up a thread if it really came down to it, but search over there.

Improved throttle response and a bit torquier, supposedly.

I wouldn't waste your time yet if you have made no modifications to the motor.

I have some extra 4 guage power wire form an install. I was wondering if the engine temps will be too much if i use it on the engine block ground or if it would be ok.
