A highly impractical alternative:

2 built B20Z
2 built auto transmissions
Reinforced axles, street clutch, etc.

Drop one in engine bay.
Drop other in trunk- along with the necessary engine mounts pirated from a dead DC Teg.

Then use a RaceLogic (not sure of the brand) controller to manually shift the two transmissions.
