H22A is both cheaper and provides more hp and torque than a B18C Type R engine. I'd recommend you go with that instead.

Are there H22 mount kits available for 2G Integras? Custom maybe? :dunno: But yeah, a B18C5 would be great too

the C5 swap is a LOT of money. you'd be able to get the H22A & goodies with the same money

VTEC R-Type engine??? You posted this 5 times already in 3 different forums.

If you want more HP, drop in a B18C1 and either juice it or boost it. The H22A will be great from the start but good luck fabricating custom mounts (and finding aftermarket goodies).

you may not know but swapping an h22 into a g2 is gonna cost you more than the c5. Though the engine itself is cheaper the labor and finding motor mounts for it will more than make up for the difference in price. Also the h22 will add extra weight and doesnt have the same stock potential as the C5. Also because the larger size will be problematic in finding aftermarket parts that will fit with the larger engine in the bay.

Get a JDM B16A engine or a B18C1. Those are gonna be simple bolt in engines and are really cheap. I would say go with the Jdm B18c1 with an LSD and throw the basic I/H/E with some cam gears and a FPR. You will get some really good hp out of that and be able to be ITR's with that set up. If i remember correctly isnt the 2g integra a cable tranny like the old Civics used to be.?
