Default ice/snow

my integra sucks so damn much in snow...omg i pulled out and my other car was in driveway and i moved it out so half the driveway on bottom was ice slush snow. Well i was pulling integra out of garage and forgot all about that went straight out and got stuck at bottom of driveway. I couldn't go forward or backward. I just sat there spinning rocking bakc and forth. So embarassing with my girl standing there lol. Took forever finally reared out and had my front drag and scrape all over then pulled it back up but had to have help push it up because all it did was slide on the driveway. Just a little snow makes my integra soooo horrible. :madfawk:

Buy some snow tires, (or some good All-Season's) - do a search, there are plenty of threads on various brands.

Also, it helps to shovel your driveway.

It helps to sometimes scan more than just the first page of the forum listing. This one made it all the way to page 2.

you don't want to have a lot of torque when your driving in snow, that's why you try and start from 2nd gear, that way you get less wheel spin.

Me too. They can't handle VTEC in first or second gear though, all they do is spin.

I never hot VTEC in the snow. You should keep the rpm's low. Start from a stop in 2nd gear. No reason to be driving fast in the snow.

Spinning the tires = melting the snow underneath into ICE. Go slow. You have the right idea with rocking back and forth.
