rear view mirror removal

Default rear view mirror removal

Anyone know how to remove the outside rear view mirrors? Its chipped and white is showing Im gonna try to repaint it black.

Take off the door panel. Then take off the black triangular plastic (it is held on by little prongs so you just have to take a flat scredriver to it) Under there you will see 3 nuts. Take those out and undo the plastic power socket. and it should just fall right out.

If it's power, you're gonna have to disconnect the wiring harness too - should be inside the door somewhere when you get the panel off.

Edit: Evermind - you already said that
