Hows it going. Seeing if anyone can help. I gave my GSR a TB clean & cleaned my manifold also. I took off the intake to clean the TB while car was off then running. I then removed the rubber hose thats connected to the mannifold and sprayed my manifold cleaner while car was running. I sprayed several times. Car would idle then rev to 3K each time then re installed hose on manifold.
When I went to cut off car my check engine light was on & wont go out. It makes a little strange sound idiling which is from light being on. How do I go about having my check engine light turned out.

well you have to find what caused the light to turn on in the first place, then address the problem.

 

I would start with resetting the ecu. Pulling vac lines that way probably tripped the CEL for a high idle.

 

Good looking . I went to work and pulled up engine code and cleared it. Went on when I cleaned my manifold & idle went up to3.

 

What was the code?
