civic ex is slower but if both are 5-speed and he can drive it better than you he could win.

Nice screen name by the way

This is probably going to get locked- but what the hell. A co-worker has a 92 Si (lighter than EX with same engine) and my Integra SE is clearly faster. He's driven my car a few times and always comments that it makes his feel slow. Likewise, his feels torqueless when I drive it.

Pretty much you can only use "real times" like 7.6 sec and 7.0 sec if they are both automatics. If not, it mostly comes down to who can drive better. I used to lose to my friend in his auto civic ex with bolt ons in the 0-60 but now that I can drive I can rape him with an extra person in my car. So I'm thinking that unless you're brother has bolt-ons on his EX (and its 5 speed) or can drive alot better than you, than you're torque should be enough to hand his ass to him.
