I was going to take off my Acura Emblem but it still alot of glue residue leftover. What soloution should I use to clean it off ?

 

there is some alcohol solvent that works well, just be careful as you dont want to damage the paint.....

were you removing the A symbol, or the acura symbol?
what gen. teg do you have?

 

Acura symbol.. its a 3rd gen teg.

 

use goo gone, and just as a tip bro, if u do anymore (not sure if ya did this) but just heat up the area with a blow dryer, making sure not to melt the paint, and then use dental floss to take off the emblem, it will also get most of the goo off tho, good luck:thumbup:

 

the acura symbol on the top left corner of the trunk, is that symbol only glued on? I thought it had pins going into the trunk as well?

 

Yeah its both glued and has pins in it. Why they had to use pins is beyond me. It woulda made it easier for people to take their emblems off

 

The pins are poke-a-yoke or "idiot proofing" that way every emblem is in the same spot and level. I had the holes filled when I had other body work done.
