what makes me happy really doesnt matter. and i dont mean to attack you personally or anything - i'm just voicing my opinion, from my experiences, ya know?

even if you got a turbo and cut your times by a full second - will you be willing to drive around clients/bosses/co-workers in that car in a few years? i wouldnt - but you may be ok with it.

it may be 'cool' in the import/car enthusiast community, but it may be just plain stupid in the eyes of everyone else. and that may be what others think of you in a more professional setting.

but again, that's just me. i like to mod cars, race them, etc. but i'd never do that (ok, maybe a few subtle things) to my daily driver.

 

I still don't understand why he would be embarresed to drive his car around? The mods he is talkign about can't even be seen from the outside of the car, and most people wouldn't even know they were there. Also, most people on this board who do any visual modifications do so with taste, and actually make their cars look better

 

im actually really interested to hear some info on the skunk2 stage cams and whatnot, im actualy planning also to do stage 2, skunk2 tit retainers and valve springs by skunk 2 also....id be real interested to know what power id increase or any other info, also if anyone has any idea how much a machine shop would charge for port and polsih and install springs and retainers...thanx in advance
