Default ECU Chips for a GSR

Are there any ecu chips for a GSR that will give it a noticeable hp increase? I have seen VW's get 30-40 hp increases by having a modified chip in the ecu.

Will that happen in a GSR if you find the right chip?

If so what chp is it? Thanks.

The chips that you are talkin about for the VW's are the turbo VW's the chip "ups" the boost level from what i understand so thats why the VW's are gaining so much power. As far as for our cars the only chips I've seen have been off ebay and i think all those do is mess with you A/F ratio and rev limiter(?). I think some1 actuall dynoed one from this site and lost 2 hp. not sure who it was tho. Correct me if im wrong guys....

b18c1teg is correct about the vw chips and it goes the same for audi. I have seen an audi a4 i think it was run a high 12 with all stock cept for a measley chip. lol its all because of the emmissions in germany is what i heard so they have to restrict them alot and the chip unrestrictes all of this stuff

On a stock GSR? Nope. On a modified GSR? Maybe, but dyno-tuning will always yield higher gains. There is no "one-chip-fits-all".
