The Best price I could ever find.
A decent paint job would cost about 2-3k and installation should be simple, just replacing panels and figuring out how to put in the new radiator supports and lights, nevertheless it's easy to figure out. But a garage would more or less feel the same, but charge you 300-500 bucks just for that. So, yeah if everything done right, the cost would exceed the value of the car.

Sorry, but this is the part where we make fun of you age. I mean when your in an accident you always call the cops unless the other party pulls out hefty check and tells you not to. I figure you have witnesses; you can luck out there. A police report would be better. The other party’s insurance companies suppose to run out and survey damages. Or tow the car to a local garage where the other party’s insurance company pays for storage and waits for an estimate.

I suggest you wait a while, save some money and then just buy an entire front Clip for like 5k or so, and then you'll have everything plus a JDM engine. Toss in another 5k for worse case senario problems and swap/body work. I know your spending more, but financial planning is the key.

Unless you have ooodles of money ignore everything I said and go for it. If not work on the insurance thing and see how much you can collect.

Hope everything works out,
Live and Learn,
Mike

cops in my area don't usually come out to accident scenes unless someone has been injured/dying or needs medical assistence and plus since it was on private property the cops would not have come out....however the school is writing me a report that i can also send into the insurance company

Well if it gets messy and court is involved, the credibility of the schools report is questionable. A police report is more binding and legal. And its hard to believe that the cops wont go check out an accident scene. But anyway not picking a fight just saying you should be more carefull. I'm from NY when something like this happens here you call the cops, insurance company and pull a witness out of the crowd. I'll sit there and block traffic till ever single detial is taken care of.

yeah well it's very apparent with what happened so i don't think there will be anything in question...right now i'm wondering if they'll call my car a total loss or if they'll fix it....so at the moment i have to wait....cops won't usually come out to accident scenes unless like i stated before...i've remember them telling me this because my cousin's are LA county sheriffs.

Well from my personal exp. when I was involved in an accident, my damages were about 8500. I decided to go with the JDM front end and it ran about 3000 for the OEM metal version w/o the HID lights. The rest of the money went to labor and paint and other misc. stuff. www.jdmhondaparts.com has a used front end for sale for 2000 I think...painted frost white. Good luck.
