Default 98 integra distrubitor ????

I have a question my distrubitor is leaking from the inside. I can see there is a seal is it replaceable or do i have to get a new distrubitor. If it is replaceable how can i do this. Its not the o ring its the seal inside the distrubitor.

Thanks ahead of time

What do you mean it's leaking from the inside?

There's two seals... One for the cam seal, and the other for the distributor cap. What exactly is leaking? Oil?

If its oil then its a cam seal. You can download a copy of the factory service manual over at Honda Hookup which will cover how to replace the seals.

No. The cam seal is inside the engine. Pull the distributor off and I betcha that the compartment where the cam and the distributor mate is full of oil. As soon as you crack the gasket you will know.

yeall ill try...last time it didnt let me post any.

There is a seal inside the distrubitor its in the inside beinhd the coil right in the bottom of it. its hard to see but if you follow the distrubitor rod to the back of the coil you can see it. it looks like a pully seal. Thats were the oil is going into the distrubitor from. can that be replaced.
